Wow, it’s been a great while since last I posted — being here feels like I’ve missed an old friend! Where have I been? Well, as always, I’ve launched out on a new journey. This time, with a Beijing, China based company called VIPKid. As a former classroom teacher, I’ve had a great desire to continue educating children in some form or fashion. After an auto accident in 2009, I was told by my physical and occupational therapists that I would no longer be able to teach in a classroom setting. I completely understood that, but the desire never waned.
A few months ago, I came across an add (actually, several) for this company that provides online English instruction to children in China. At first, my interest was peaked, but I scrolled past thinking that it may not be legit (because it sounded too good to be true.) “Make up to $2000.00 per month teaching online ESL part-time if you have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.” Hmmm… Finally, I bit the bullet and decided to go for it. Best decision ever!
I began the application process – – a simple online questionnaire that sought general information. I received an email saying that I made it to the interview phase. This was an hour long online interview with a staff member in Beijing where I was questioned and then required to teach a sample lesson. After that, I was passed to the next phase — two more mock classes to teach. Long story short — I made it! I’ve had the greatest time teaching these cute little angels and without having to leave my home, I’m able to “travel” to Beijing several times a week! It doesn’t interfere with my writing and I can still be home with my three year old. Winner winner!
Do you have a Bachelor’s Degree? Do you like working from home? Would you like to earn up to $2000/month with part time hours teaching online English? If so, VIPKid may be the place for you! It’s very easy to start the application process, and you can click my referral link below to do so. I would love to help you on your journey! Use my referral code: 05AH3R or just click below.
See you in the classroom!
