RV Kitchen Progress

Those that have followed my journey to RV life know that before I purchased my first motorhome, I really wanted a convection oven. When I decided on the Rialta, I compromised by purchasing the Omnia stovetop oven. When I bought my latest Gypsy Rider, I was ecstatic because it has the convection oven that I wanted so badly. Well, when it came to using it, I was just as afraid to light the pilot as I was when I needed to light it on the Rialta stove! Today, I made progress. 🙂

I will admit, it wasn’t because I became so brave that I used the oven today. Admittedly, it was because my desire for chocolate cake outweighed my trepidation. Chocolate will always win in my world, regardless of the obstacle attempting to block our undying love for one another!

And so it goes, I lit the pilot, baked the cake, and I now sit in a state of complete contentment. I’m enjoying a hot cup of cinnamon tea and a huge hunk of warm cake, and I’m looking at the lovely trees outside my window. Ahhh, how I love the simple life!
